There hasn’t been a party, red carpet event, or charity function to speak of in quite a while… there hasn’t even been a random celebrity sighting with the entire country practicing social distancing!! Which prompted the following question. Do we entirely skip Dare to Compare this month (say what?!) or do we dig back a mere few weeks (which yes, feels like a few years!) and give you some of our signature MSC celebrity inspo? Since I write the post; I get to make the decision;) And yes, we’re moving along with the post! Everyone can use a little pick me up during these trying times, so hopefully I can make your fashion loving heart do a little happy dance, because boy, do I have a look for both you ladies AND gents!!:)
Let me be blunt. If you haven’t seen the horror hit, A Quiet Place, starring husband and wife superstars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, I don’t know if we can ever be friends. And-oh-my-gosh-I-just-realized-what-I-did-there!! Moving along, though…. Way back when on March 8, 2020, which feels like decades ago, but was literally 3 weeks ago, A Quiet Place Part II premiered in NYC. The film follows Emily’s character, Evelyn, as a now single mom in an alien infested world. It’s sure to be uh-mazing!
Emily and John showed up to this date/work night in jaw dropping looks that completely complemented each other. John showed up in a bright blue Dolce and Gabbana suit which he paired with a skinny black tie, while Emily stunned in a gorgeous, red, leather Alexander McQueen midi dress, which featured a sweetheart neckline and ruffled lace bottom. She had her blonde locks pulled back into a slick, straight pony parted down the middle and kept her makeup minimal and fresh. She opted for gold sandals, a gold clutch and funky gold earrings, as well as red nails to fully round out the incredible look. It was so not over the top, but was stunning, nevertheless. And what I love about the couple’s choice of attire is that they were wearing such opposite colors, both being super bold and bright, yet they looked so cohesive and great together!
