Green With Envy

Hot off the smashing success of her fifth studio album, 1989, Taylor Swift showed up at the 2014 American Music Awards looking UH-MAZING! Girl can do no wrong it seems. I mean did you see her incredibly theatrical performance of ‘Blank Space??’ Rumor has it that Harry Styles inspired this number. *Sigh* I am NOT gonna lie- Taylor’s lineup of ex-boyfriends, kinda makes me want to be her and actually get it right for a change. But hey, I’m not one to judge. Anyhow, did I mention that she took home the Dick Clark Award for Excellence? Yup, it’s a brand new award and was the highest honor of the night. Oooh, and I might I add, it was presented by the venerable Dianna Ross. Woman crush alert!

Here’s the thing: The whole point of my ramblings, was really to chat about Taylor’s stunning Michael Kors column dress. Somehow, and I think understandably so, we got sidetracked. Back to the dress! It’s chic, it’s understated, it exudes sophistication, and lucky for all you guys out there, it bares Taylor’s super toned midriff. (Not that you stand a chance, though!) Taylor Swift has truly transformed from a cute country star, into a classy young woman who seems to nail it every single time on the fashion front. And the color of that dress is to die for! The green is exceptionally striking and perfectly complements her fair skin and light eyes. Yessss, I needed this look yesterday already! Did I find it? Of course I did; do you not know me by now???

Transform into an AMA’s Taylor Swift look-a-like, in our Cherokee Workwear Round Neck Notched Top. In Hunter, of course. It features a slim cut and has got that same sleek and sophisticated look as Taylor’s Michael Kors number. And I think we nailed it with the color. Finish off the look with an edgy bob like Taylor’s and you’ll practically be her twin. As an aside, bobs make for great nurse hair-dos. They’re right on trend and keep your hair out of places no nurse’s hair should be! The one thing we couldn’t do for you in terms of this look, ladies, was that bared midriff thing she’s got going on. Sorry, it’s against code:( So you’ll be her almost twin; that should be good enough!
