I may or may not have featured this Cherokee Workwear burnout underscrub tee in the past, but hey, ‘sorry not sorry.’ And besides, Fall is just around the corner, which means lattes and lotsa layers! So which beauty inspired my two-time pick?? The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer herself, Demi Lovato!
It’s been quite the whirlwind week for this songstress so far. I mean, National Anthem at the Mayweather-McGregor fight Saturday night, (and might I say, SHE won the night with that one!) and then right on over to the MTV Video Music Awards the next night. Not only did Demi attend the award show, but her song ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ was nominated for Song of the Summer, and she even got to perform it for a wildly enthusiastic crowd!
Every night of fun though, begins with some fabulous fashion, and Demi’s stole the show. It was quite the different look from the classic Christian Siriano white cape dress she sported the night before, but you know what they say… The MTV VMAs are all about creativity; about being a free spirit. There are plenty of other times for celebs to go full on glam in the gown department. This show in particular affords stars the opportunity to play with fashion and go bold. And might I add, Demi went BOLD!! She went for an all-black, statement making Zuhair Murad creation which featured a sheer lace bodysuit and sparkling harem pants. Her pumps, a lace pointed toe pair from Casadei, pulled together her ensemble, and she finished off her total look with many, many, MANY white diamonds from Messika, and a smokey nude face.
So back to the Cherokee Workwear underscrub. It’s lace and it’s long sleeved, which translates into chic and cozy. Perfect for the chillier days ahead! Pair it with literally any pair of black scrub pants from your closet and you’re good to go; Demi style:)
