For those of you that tuned in to the CMT Artists of the Year special, you probably noticed that for the first time in its eight year history there was an all-female lineup of honorees. *cue the applause* I’ll have you know, though, that it may have entirely been an effort in damage control after the 2018 CMA Awards nominations included not one female artist in the Entertainer of the Year category, as well as not a single solo woman act in the Song or Single of the Year category. NEVERTHELESS. Props to those who saw the errors in their ways and rectified a wrong. That being said, there were a total of seven well deserving honorees at the Artists of The Year special, but the standout honoree was obviously Carrie Underwood. Hands down!

Here’s the thing. Carrie had a pretty rough year. I’m talking that freak accident that messed with her gorgeous face, and unfortunately, multiple miscarriages. But she’s BACK! She looks beautiful and is expecting a baby with her husband Mike Fisher!! Yes, yes, YES!! And if you think she’s letting pregnancy compromise her fashion game, you are dead wrong. Carrie Underwood is the queen of country music and boy, did she bring her A-game to the red carpet. And to the stage of course; but you know where my interests lie;)

Baby bumps can be hard to dress. Been there done that. But Carrie does it so well! She put her lean legs on display in a blue, long-sleeved, sequined Tadashi Shoji mini dress that featured ruching along the sides for a slenderizing look. She wore her long, blond locks in loose waves, kept her makeup fresh and neutral, and pulled everything together with a pair of strappy, gold pumps, and a dazzling array of diamond rings. It was a winner of a look if you ask me!

Believe it or not, nurses get pregnant too!! And when they do, we’ve got a full selection of maternity scrubs to help them dress their bumps fashionably and most importantly, comfortably. In an ode to Carrie’s incredible blue dress, I’d like to recommend the Cherokee Workwear Professionals mock wrap scrub top in the color royal. It’s flattering, just like Carrie’s dress. It’s a beautiful shade of blue, just like Carrie’s dress. And it’s comfortable, UNLIKE Carrie’s dress, I’d venture to say. But you get my drift! So for all you mama’s to be out there in the nursing field, here’s to bumpin’ in style!
